Angelena's Not-So-Short Bio
As a child my mother often said, “you never sit still, you are always moving around.” Her words predicted the basic course of my life...being always physically active, dancing and practicing or teaching Yoga...and often changing my home address. With an adventurous spirit I have lived, if sometimes only briefly, in four countries, five states, and many cities and towns.
As for more personal information, I have had two marriages/divorces, three sons, two now successful adults and the third a special needs son who lived only to eight years old. I have known, and passed through grief.
Teaching in many different settings has remained my passion, ever since my first job in 1965, when I started and taught in a nursery school in Williamsport, MA. Writing essays has also been an important part of life.
My current and last job has been directing “A New Aging Movement”. Through my writings on “How to Age Healthfully and Happily”, and teaching my program “Yoga, Using a Chair”, I reach out to those who hope to stay young, while growing older.

PROGRAM ENDORSEMENTS
"I’ve taken yoga for many years, but this chair yoga class is my all-time favorite. "
Stephanie Slavin, Sarasota, FL
"My achy joints are happy to have found chair yoga. I walk away from the weekly class absolutely changed, rejuvenated and uplifted. The program facilitator is Angelena Craig and she is a true master of the craft, having trained at the famous Kripalu Center near Boston. I am surprised more men don’t take advantage of this pain-relieving and fairly easy-to-do fix. I say try it, and you’ll be hooked to regularly do the chair version of yoga."
Clinton E. Day, MBA Sarasota, FL
"Angelena is a gifted teacher giving excellent directions while encouraging us to breathe, get in touch with our bodies, relax and really strengthen and loosen up."
Paulette Black, Boston, MA
“Angelena’s chair yoga class is very important to my well being. It not only helps improve my balance, strength and relief of back, leg and neck aches, but at the end of our hour I leave with a sense of peace and calm. Thank you for this blessing."
